Finlox is a personal finance tracking app. To provide financial tracking tools, Finlox allows users to input and manage personal finance data. The data you create and store within the app may include:

• Financial transactions and journal entries
• Accounts and ledgers
• Budgets and categorization tags
• Loan tracking records
• SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) outflow tracking records
• Generated financial reports

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to provide the core features of Finlox, including:

• Creating and managing your Finlox account
• Saving and displaying your transactions
• Managing your accounts, ledgers, budgets, tags, loans, SIP outflows, and reports
• Providing secure cloud access to your data
• Improving app reliability, security, and user experience

3. Data Storage and Security

Finlox uses cloud login authentication and stores user-created personal finance data using Supabase, a cloud backend infrastructure provider. Data transmitted between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS connections.

We use reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

4. No Data Selling

Finlox does not sell user data. Your financial records, profile information, and email address are not sold to third parties, advertisers, or marketing agencies.

5. Data Sharing

Finlox does not publicly share your personal finance data with other users. We may use trusted service providers, such as Supabase, only for app functionality, authentication, cloud storage, security, and backend operations.

6. Account and Data Deletion

Finlox allows users to delete their account and associated data from inside the app.

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Please send the request from your registered Finlox email address and mention: "Delete my Finlox account".

When your account is deleted, the following data may be deleted:

• User account and profile information
• Transactions
• Accounts and ledgers
• Budgets
• Tags
• Loan tracking records
• SIP outflow tracking records
• Journal entries
• Reports generated from user-created data

Some limited data may be retained only when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or technical reasons. Account deletion is permanent and deleted data cannot be restored.

7. Important Financial Disclaimers

Finlox is only a software tool for personal financial tracking, journaling, and planning. By using this app, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Not a Financial Institution: Finlox does not provide loans, banking services, investment services, brokerage services, or payment services.
• No Financial Advice: Finlox does not provide professional financial advice and does not guarantee financial returns.
• Tracking Purposes Only: Loan and SIP features are only for user-managed tracking and planning. Finlox does not process loans, disburse funds, execute investments, or connect users to financial products.

8. Children's Privacy

Finlox is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal data, we may take steps to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
